The only thing hotter than the recent weather was the friction caused by dabbers at the first Community Bingo session at the Pilling Park Community Centre! The good news is... it's back again on Tuesday, June 30th, from 1-3pm, and the last Tuesday of each month moving forward. Andrea from the Lionwoodcafe has done an amazing job sourcing more prizes from local businesses. We are pleased to announce that Tesco Express on Plumstead Road have donated two bottles of champagne, worth £34 each! And our star prize this month is a £20 gift voucher from the lovely people at Cafe 193. The winner of that prize has some seriously delicious treats coming their way! We also have a range of other prizes to be won on the day 😍 It’s completely FREE to play, and everyone is welcome, whether you’re a Bingo fan or you just fancy a laugh, a chat, and a cup of tea. The Lionwoodcafe has been an amazing addition to the local community. But we still want and need more people to come down to sample what’s on offer. Not only do you get to see Andrea’s friendly face and never-ending smile, but you get to enjoy her tasty treats at the same time. Throw in some Community Bingo as well, and what more do you need… the perfect Tuesday afternoon.
